An avid supporter of her community, Donna co-founded Opening Doors of Westerly Children in 2013, a 501c3 organization that provides books, backpacks, and laptops for area school libraries and learning opportunities for children who need these resources. She is also a board member of the United Theater, a regional cultural and performing arts center in Westerly. She enjoys life with her husband, Grant, her accomplished daughter Whitney, her granddaughter, Bailey, and dog, G.G. Simmons, The Dog.
