Dame Samira Coleby moved to the Bahamas from Paris in 1993 and began teaching French. As a result, for twelve years (12) she ran the Alliance Française as General Director. Samira was knighted by the French Government with the prestigious Palmes Académiques for her hard work and dedication in spreading French cultural awareness within The Bahamas. For a number of years Samira has been 100 percent immersed in her real estate career – benefiting greatly from her contacts through the Alliance Française. She is a hardworking mother of two, fully committed to the well-being of her clients, local and foreign alike. Over the years she has acquired extensive knowledge and understanding of the real estate market in the Bahamas and has been very successful in working with buyers and sellers. Her success has resulted in establishing longstanding friendships with her clients. Samira is bilingual and able to service her buyers and sellers fluently in French or English. A scholar in Art History, Samira spends much of her free time painting. When time allows, she also enjoys listening to opera, cooking all styles of cuisine and practicing yoga.
