Born and raised in the South, Maria brings enthusiasm, professionalism and a hospitable mindset to Atlanta’s fine housing market, specializing in North Metro Atlanta from Brookhaven, Buckhead and Cumming and the many communities in between. Her favorite quote? "Home is where your heart’s on fire," by the late jazz great Al Jarreau in his song, 'Easy'-her ultimate goal for each real estate transaction! With a genuine passion for Atlanta and a dedication to her clients’ success, Maria guides people through every step of the buying and selling process, while being mindful and intentional for every transaction. For Maria, there’s nothing more gratifying than helping her clients find their dream home and move on to an exciting new phase in their lives. Prior to realizing her dream of becoming a licensed REALTOR® and joining Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby’s International Realty, she worked as a Marketing Manager for an SAP® consulting firm, a corporate services firm and was a Sales and Operations Manager for the largest silk fabric importer in the textile and design industry. Her early experience as a Regional Sales Representative in South Florida and then Metro Atlanta for a large grocery retail company provided her with strong sales skills and gave her valuable insights into the Atlanta market. She also owned and operated a small business in Atlanta and sold it to raise her three children on a full-time basis. Maria has been an active volunteer in the National PTA Reflections program (four years), her neighborhood swim team executive committee (nine years), Emory Healthcare Advisory Committee (three years) and served on her HOA board (two years). Other community involvement includes creating and executing "Chastain-style" concert fundraising events (three years) to benefit Family Haven of Forsyth, netting tens of thousands of dollars for this valuable domestic violence shelter program. Her unique experiences and world travels allow her to connect with people of all ages and backgrounds, and she takes pride in introducing her clients to the communities and lifestyles of some of Atlanta’s best neighborhoods. Maria resides in Historic Brookhaven with her awesome husband, Bob, and revolving door of children (they have six between the ages of 19-25!).
