Description

Victoria Murphy is a descendant of some of Santa Fe’s earliest Spanish settlers and strives to connect the city’s newest residents to its rich past. Victoria loves working in real estate and the constant opportunity to meet new people and explore Santa Fe’s homes. She grew up surround by the history and architecture of Santa Fe and they are integral parts of her identity. On her mother’s side, the Sosaya’s, Roybal’s and Gonzales’, her family has been in Santa Fe since 1598. Her grandfather was a builder who constructed many of the classic homes on the Eastside and laid out several of the most historic streets, Sosaya Lane, San Antonio and San Pasqual.

Victoria’s mother is a nationally celebrated Hispanic artist, Monica Sosaya Halford and her father, Richard Halford, was a renowned architect who designed many downtown buildings and homes. He also owned a small real estate company, La Mancha Realty, and had always hoped his daughter would follow him into the business. Much to his delight she eventually did!

Her clientele are from diverse backgrounds and price ranges and many come from out of state and Victoria enjoys sharing the history of Santa Fe with them as they explore the city. Victoria has served as Chair of the Government Affairs Committee for SFAR and Chair of the Legislative Committee for RANM. Victoria is currently on the Education Committee, Grievance Committee, Government Affairs Committee, and is Immediate Past-President of the Santa Fe Association of Realtors (SFAR), and is on the Legislative Committee, Pro Standards Committee, Mediation Committee, Budget and Finance Committee, Board of Directors and Trustee for Stanley Mathis Foundation, RPAC-NM Trustee, and NE District Vice-President for the Realtors Association of New Mexico (RANM).
