Originally from Cape Town, South Africa, where he was educated at Diocesan College, his career includes positions as International Architect for Tiffany & Co. based in Manhattan, and Corporate Architect for COMPAQ Computer Corporation in Houston, Texas. He is an avid duplicate bridge player and an intrepid traveler.
