A third-generation Texan, Margaret Motheral is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a B.S. in Education. Margaret grew up in Houston, but she has called Fort Worth home since 1973. “Real estate is the most interesting profession I know,” says Margaret. “I love working with both buyers and sellers and helping them to achieve their goals. Helping buyers find that perfect home or helping sellers in all the stages of the process from staging to closing of a listing is so gratifying. The rewards of this business are numerous, including the close friendships I have formed with clients and the referrals and repeat business I am given. In fact, repeat business and referrals are the greatest compliment I can receive!” she says. “My goal is to do a thorough job of communicating with my clients so that they understand the process at each step along the way. I encourage my clients to ask questions, because having the knowledge they need to make solid decisions will help to relieve much of the stress that can be part of a transaction.” “Every client is important to me, and I try to provide a luxury experience in each transaction, regardless of the price point.” She emphasizes the importance of being a good listener to create a win-win situation for both sides. Margaret's initial exposure to real estate occurred when her husband was asked by the mayor of Fort Worth to start an organization, known today as Near South Side, Inc. Its purpose was to initiate the rehabilitation of the blighted hospital district and the once lovely Magnolia Avenue. Today, this thriving hotspot is a highly sought location for businesses, restaurants and residential living alike. Margaret currently resides with her husband in the Overton Park area of Fort Worth.
