San Antonio Realtor Kathy Ripps has dedicated much of her life to giving compassionate, dedicated care to her clients. With a background as a professional counselor and years of experience in real estate investing and property management, Kathy made a natural transition to a real estate agent and luxury home specialist offering dedication and understanding to every transaction. With a Master’s in both Education and Counseling Psychology, Kathy spent 31 years working in the San Antonio school system first as a special education teacher and then as a counselor for middle and high school students. This extensive background has given her a strong ability to understand and relate to the needs of others, allowing her to truly recognize the significant impact buying or selling a home can have on a person’s life. Her people skills are coupled with a keen business and marketing sense which she built on through many years of helping her husband with his personal investment business. Kathy now enjoys helping others navigate through the process with ease. She is a member of the National Association of Realtors, San Antonio Board of Realtors, National Association of Women in Business Owners (NAWBO), Alamo Heights Retired School Personnel, Los Amigos Ski and Travel Club, Fiesta Commission, Military-Civilian Club of San Antonio and San Antonio Platinum Top 50. She strongly supports organizations and charities including Impact SA, American Cancer Ranch Chic Event, PT50's Days of Service, Serving on the Chancel Guild of her church, and financially supporting the High School Mentorship Program through NAWBO. Kathy and her husband fully support the Arts in San Antonio, as well. They were founding members of the San Antonio Opera and continue to support the museums and theatre. San Antonio’s growth and development inspire Kathy and she hopes, as your Realtor, she can help you find that same inspiration. She conducts all business with integrity, honesty, and transparency. Kathy feels that working with past and current soldiers is such an honor and one of the highlights of her career. She has worked with the Military for quite some time and has an extensive family that has served! She previously served as a Counselor at Ft. Sam Houston for five years. Her mother’s seven brothers all served in WWII and covered all branches, as well as having a father-in-law who is retired Air Force.
