MaryScott Perry Haigler is a lifelong resident of Edenton. She is a proud graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and also received a major in Interior Design from Meredith College. After 10 years in NC's Triangle area, MaryScott's deep Edenton roots called her home. With her mother's "encouragement," she received her Broker's license in 2004, and they became partners in Perry & Company Real Estate. Her first hand knowledge and understanding of the Edenton market qualifies her as a natural in serving any client in the sale or purchase of property. MaryScott enjoys developing personal relationships with her clients. She's energetic and organized, and is extremely efficient at handling the closing process from start to finish. A focus on attention to detail makes the buying and selling process smooth and stress free. Her love of Edenton is contagious, and she finds great joy in introducing newcomers to life in her hometown. MaryScott is the third generation to live in her historic downtown Edenton home, with her husband, Ted, and their twins. In her (limited - ha!) spare time, she enjoys painting, reading, fishing, and getting out on the water whenever she can. Past board member of the Chowan Arts Council, a member of Gateway Bank's Advisory Board, board member of Chowan Perquimans Habitat for Humanity, and an active member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, MaryScott is the General Manager of Perry & Co. Sotheby's International Realty.
