By way of background, I completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. From there, I launched into the business world as an entrepreneur, owning and operating businesses including a consulting practice based in Chicago which specialized in employee benefits and retirement plans, an automotive distribution business with multiple locations in the U.S. and Canada and an automotive paint service business located in Toronto. Also, I followed my passion of cooking and entertaining as the owner of a well-known restaurant located in Rosedale. Growing these start-up businesses necessitated my development of a strong business acumen. All of these experiences have helped hone my outstanding sales and marketing skills and have positioned me uniquely to help meet your requirements.
As a volunteer, I am passionate about my work with Ovarian Cancer Canada and have chaired their “Ladies Golf Classic” and “Celebrate the Women in Your Life”. I support the Canadian Women's Foundation and have served as a volunteer for the annual “Sisterhood Soiree”. I also support New Story, a non-profit organization that invests 100 per cent of their donations toward transforming dangerous living environments into communities of safe and sustainable homes around the globe.
