Originally from Caracas, Maria Bazo has spent much of her adult life living in and loving New York City. Always fascinated and inspired by the housing market and with a natural talent for customer service, marketing, and sales, it was only a matter of time before Maria found herself excelling with Sotheby’s International Realty.
Maria joined the company in 2012 by participating in a mentorship program, operating under the tutelage of Serena Boardman, the highest-producing Sotheby’s International Realty independent sales associate. Thanks to this unparalleled learning experience, Maria has sold in excess of $124 million since joining the company. In fact, every quarter she has earned a place in the upper half of Realogy Brokerage Group's Top 1,000 Sales Associates, and her accomplishments have put her in the top 3% of Realogy Brokerage Group's 50,000 sales associates nationwide.
Specializing in residential real estate and new development sales, Maria is well-versed in a variety of neighborhoods, including the Upper East Side, where she is most active; Upper West Side; Downtown, where she frequently works; and Harlem, where she represented and sold out a new development project. For the latter, she provided pre-development consultation, strategic marketing advice and professional onsite sales.
