If there’s one thing that sets Clay Brants apart, it’s experience. He has been helping clients purchase and sell real estate in the Fort Worth area for over 35 years. Throughout this time, he has developed lasting relationships with buyers, sellers, realtors, and other professionals. His deep industry knowledge and vast network equip him to navigate the complexities of every real estate transaction with unmatched expertise.
Clay has a natural ability to connect with people and is prepared not only to guide clients through transactions, but to be their life-long real estate resource. Leading with integrity and a client-first mentality, his referral-based business has given him the opportunity to work with the same families for years, serving multiple generations.
Clay's family established Brants Realtors, Inc. in 1926. He consolidated ownership of the brokerage in the late 90's and helped run the business until it merged with Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty in 2015. Joining forces with Sotheby’s gave Brants Realtors and its agents a global platform as premiere real estate advisors in Fort Worth – fitting, as the city's recent growth has garnered international attention. On a personal level, the merger gave Clay the opportunity to re-focus on what he loves most about real estate: building client relationships and managing transactions.
Clay was born in Fort Worth but moved to Australia in third grade, making stops in Houston, TX and Canaan, NH before completing high school in Alexandria, VA outside Washington, DC. He earned a B.S. in Finance from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia, where he was a member of Delta Kappa Epsilon and T.I.L.K.A. After living all over the world, Clay couldn't wait to return to his hometown of Fort Worth. His real estate career started on the commercial side, but he quickly realized that helping people buy and sell homes was infinitely more rewarding. Clay and his team, The Brants Group, have years of experience in every type of real estate transaction imaginable – from luxury residences to waterfront homes, urban condos to horse ranches.
